Life crumbling down all over
Composure’s coming undone
Flying through the screen
Yet, emotion weighs a tonne
Clouds can be so deceiving
House thrown into a storm
He asks but he’s not receiving
Reality just struck a chord.

Reflections

I used to hate these types of things while in school, but now, they’ve become so essential to just sorting things out in my head.

I’ve had a great term. Plenty of experiences and plenty of new friends, and perhaps even reconnecting with some I’d lost touch with. Potentially not as much balance as I’d have liked, but maybe that was a concession I unconsciously made. Why, I’m not too sure. Regrets, maybe. Not enough time with a few people, and perhaps I made some feel like they were dispensable, when really, they form the core of my circle. But, I hope they know better. 

I think I’m ready to take the next big step in my life; not to fear the possibility of getting hurt and to just “go for it” instead, as I hear so very often here. We live life now, and what’s the point in worrying about a future that may not even exist. I’m rambling, probably from sheer exhaustion.
